The room was spacious and clean, and the view from the window was stunning. The food was delicious and abundant, with different courses and flavors. The hotel was located in a natural environment, surrounded by hills and vegetation, which made it a peaceful place to spend the festive season.

The hotel did not provide any special services or activities for guests during Christmas time. We felt that the decorations were minimal and didn't create a festive atmosphere.

Nestled in the heart of the lush Yoshino mountains, this ryokan offers a unique and authentic Japanese experience. the spacious rooms, some furnished with traditional tatami mats, create an atmosphere of serenity and relaxation. Guests can enjoy delicious and elaborate Japanese meals, crafted with fresh local ingredients. the onsen offers rejuvenating and peaceful bathing experience after a day hiking in the Japanese jungle where cherry trees blossom in the spring.

Some areas of the hotel need some TLC for better upkeep.

Location was perfect - a serene retreat away from the hustle of the city. the traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast were heavenly and served beautifully. the staff was polite and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile.

One minor issue was the lack of karaoke facilities available. For this hotel's price point, it would have been nice to have the additional entertainment option.

We enjoyed the spacious and clean rooms overlooking nature and the delicious traditional breakfast and dinner. The hotel's facilities and parking were convenient and the staff were kind and helpful.
